M2TechCast covers women in tech, security, and more

ROYAL OAK — The latest on women in technology, cyber security, digital marketing and high-speed web connections will be covered in the Monday, Aug. 20 edition of the M2 TechCast.

Join co-hosts Mike Brennan and Matt Roush and these guests beginning at 2 p.m. Eastern time at PodcastDetroit.com:

* 2 p.m.: Kathleen Norton Schock returns to update all the happenings with Diva Tech Talk and the Michigan Council of Women in Technology.

* 2:15 p.m.: Cybersecurity expert Dan Lohrmann will discuss his recent column that takes a look at Duo Security and the cyber talent pay gap.

* 2:30 p.m.: Melih Oztalay updates what’s happening with the SmartOne advanced digital local marketing auto dealership program with guaranteed results.

* 2:45 p.m.: Chuck Irvin, Director of Network Development at 123Net, will explain how the Detroit Internet Exchange brings value to Michigan.

Heading into its fourth year, the M2 TechCast is co-hosted by Matt Roush, director of media relations at Lawrence Technological University, and Mike Brennan, owner of MITechNews.com, an online Michigan tech news source since 1999. It’s part of the Podcast Detroit network of more than 80 locally produced podcasts, anchored by IT in the D, which runs Monday nights from 9 to 11 p.m. Eastern time and which regularly draws more than 500,000 listeners.
