M2 TechCast: Russian hacking, new angel fund, cloud advances, protecting intellectual property

ROYAL OAK — Cybersecurity and Russian hacking, a new angel fund, advances in cloud computing and protecting your intellectual property. That’s the lineup for the Monday, June 16 edition of the M2TechCast podcast.

Guests on the show today are to include:

* David Weaver and Doron York of Great Lakes Angels, who will discuss a new angel fund.
* James Carpp, director of consulting at Rehmann, will discuss how its recent acquisition, Trivalent Group, has been ranked as one of the top 100 managed services providers in the world.
* Cybersecurity expert Richard Stiennon will update all the cybersecurity threats that will keep you up at night, including the Russian GRU fingerprints on the election hack of 2016.
* Vito Ciaravino, a patent attorney at Warner Norcross + Judd LLP, will discuss intellectual property and patent issues faced by small to mid-sized tech companies.
