Member Driven Technologies launches project management, renews Jack Henry software

FARMINGTON HILLS–Member Driven Technologies, a credit union service organization that hosts Symitar processing software from Monett, Mo.-based Jack Henry & Associates Inc., announced that it has launched project management consulting services.

MDT officials say the new service will help credit unions plan, implement and optimize critical initiatives and manage project scope, cost, time and quality.

Initial engagements include a new phone system for Bay City-based United Bay Community Credit Union, where CEO Diane Abbonizio said MDT “helped us build a timeline, structure, task list, change management framework and additional elements required to effectively run a project. Not only was this initiative a success, but we walked away with the knowledge for how to more easily manage projects on our own, making us better and stronger.”

Said Dan Schneider, vice president of project management and implementations at Member Driven Technologies: “Retaining full time project management expertise on staff is an expensive resource, but such skills can be critical to launching new projects or initiatives. We deeply care about our clients’ success and want to help them not only effectively complete projects but gain the project management principles and tools that will help them move forward. We look forward to offering this service and support to our clients, helping them grow and succeed.”

MDT also announced an extension of its partnership with Jack Henry & Associates, hosting the Symitar system to provide credit unions with a private cloud alternative for core processing and IT needs.

“MDT is a trusted leader in helping credit unions of all sizes launch and optimize digital technology to enhance the member experience and effectively compete,” said Shanon McLachlan, president of credit union solutions for Jack Henry. “By extending our successful, long-term partnership, MDT will further our technology modernization strategy, helping credit unions across the country leverage sophisticated cloud-based and digital tools to create a competitive differentiator.”

MDT is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year, highlighting its services to 113 credit unions representing nearly two million members.

“Jack Henry always has been and continues to be a strong partner; we are closely aligned with how we view the future of financial services and the digitally optimized, API-based technology credit unions will need to remain relevant and grow,” said Larry Nichols, CEO and president of MDT. “The extension of our partnership represents a dedication to collaboration and innovation between our two organizations, one that will directly support and drive value for our credit union community.”
