ASQ, ASME to hear from international business performance expert

SOUTHFIELD–The Greater Detroit Section of ASQ, the American Society for Quality and the Metro Detroit Section of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers will hold a joint membership meeting on Thursday, Oct. 20.

The program features organizational performance presenter Tony Belilovskiy on “Strategy and Tools for Transformation Leaders.”

Belilovskiy has a multifaceted background and education, including an Associate of Science in metallurgy from Odessa Polytechnic Institute in Odessa, Ukraine, a Bachelor of Science in cardiopulmonary sciences and a Master of Healthcare Management, both from Northeastern University in Boston. He is a registered respiratory therapist, a certified professional coder, and an accomplished classical pianist.

Belilovskiy is vice president of the International Institute for Customer Centered Leadership and a presenter for C3 Excellence. During his 25-year career he worked in and with community and major hospitals as a clinician and administrator, along with group physician practices, medical insurance companies, and government entities. His presentation will offer a path to organizational excellence by connecting strategy, daily work, and customer insight; define intangible knowledge work as concrete, measurable, and repeatable; determine who ‘the customer’ really is, in every context, and why it matters; inject existing initiatives with a strong customer bias, leveraging current practices; and use new tools for outstanding results.
