SOUTHFIELD—Lawrence Technological University’s Centrepolis Accelerator will host its second annual client awards event online from 3 to 4 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 14.
Awards will be presented in the following categories:
- Best Commercialized Hardware Product, for recent commercialization of a physical hardware product
- Best Manufacturing Technology, for technologies that address operational efficiencies in manufacturing plants
- Best Cleantech technology, for the most compelling technology that has a positive impact on cleaner fuels, energy efficiency, emission reduction and creating or preserving clean water
- Best Circular Economy Technology, for technologies that improve recycling system efficiencies, improves the percentage of recycled and upcycled materials in product design, and reduces the amount of materials that go into landfills.

The Centrepolis Accelerator is on a mission to fuel the growth of Southeast Michigan’s small manufacturers and hardware entrepreneurs by providing access to key resources, including mentors, workshops, cutting-edge technologies, corporate connections, student and faculty engagement, events, workspace, and a collaborative community of peers.
Accelerator members have access to a state-of-the-art 6,200 square-foot facility featuring additional workspace, training facilities, and a premier manufacturing technology lab on LTU’s campus.
