Bloomfield Hills investment firm names new associate

BLOOMFIELD HILLS—O2 Investment Partners LLC announced the appointment of Sam Wegenke as the firm’s newest associate.

O2 Partner Luke Plumpton said Wegenke’s “relevant transaction experience and skill set will be an asset to the firm as we continue to scale our portfolio and explore new opportunities.”

Wegenke will be responsible for evaluating new transactions, due diligence, underwriting, and working in partnership with O2’s portfolio company management teams.

Prior to joining O2, Wegenke was an investment banking analyst at Houlihan Lokey, a Los Angeles, Calif.-based investment bank, where he provided sell-side merger and acquisition advice to industrial and distribution clients. Before joining Houlihan, Wegenke was an investment banking analyst at The McLean Group, an investment banking firm in McLean, Va. Megenke earned a Bachelor of Arts in finance from the Eli Broad College of Business at Michigan State University and his master’s degree from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business.
