TROY– Progressive Drug and Notification System Inc. has added a feature called Visitor Log Mode to its Test Alerts system that company officials say allows restaurants and other businesses required to maintain contact tracing logs, to easily and efficiently stay compliant during COVID-19 reopening.
The system requires no health screening questions and automatically manages the paperwork involved, allowing businesses to retrieve data easily from a secure dashboard.
Businesses create and post a sign at each entrance with a QR code, custom survey code, or PIN. Visitors are asked for a name and contact number, then scan the QR code or enter the PIN on entry on their phone. Upon submission, a green check is displayed to indicate they have checked in and can be shown on entry. The system dashboard creates a daily list of patrons, who can be contacted in case of virus exposure.
PDANS’ basic free plan allows any business to test the product at no cost, for up to 500 entries a month for up to three locations. Businesses can also upgrade to a paid tier to unlock premium features such as unlimited locations and entries, customized logos, an optional question editor for health screening questions, exporting log information to an Excel file, kiosk support, detailed history reports, and one year of retention time for historical reports. There are two premium levels—enhanced for $75 a month and premier for $200 a month.
