Vattikuti wins national Entrepreneur of the Year award

DETROIT—The accounting and advisory firm Ernst & Young LLP has named Michigan serial entrepreneur Raj Vattikuti as a national Entrepreneur of the Year award winner.

Vattikuti, executive chairman of the IT services firm Altimetrik, was selected as a regional award winner for Michigan and Northwest Ohio in October.

Vattikuti was one of 10 national winners announced at the virtual 2020 Strategic Growth Forum, a gathering of the nation’s high-growth, market-leading companies. He was selected by an independent panel of judges from a pool of more than 200 regional award winners.

“There’s so much potential right now to create new business models and seize new opportunities by enabling companies to simplify operations, promote experimentation, and improve collaboration,” Vattikuti said. “The secret to success is engaging the people around you, serving the needs of your clients, and empowering people to reach their goals. I share this award with the people who have supported and helped achieve what we set out to accomplish. Like other entrepreneurs, I’m constantly thinking about how we can change the world for the better through technology and philanthropy.”

Since 1986, Ernst & Young has honored entrepreneurs whose ingenuity, spirit of innovation and tenacity have driven their companies’ success, transformed their industries and made a positive impact on their communities. Vattikuti will go on to become a lifetime member of the esteemed multi-industry community of award winners, with exclusive, ongoing access to the experience, insight and wisdom of fellow alumni and other ecosystem members in over 60 countries—all supported by EY resources.
