Clinton Twp. manufacturer adds sales VP

CLINTON TWP.—Officials of Xcentric Mold & Engineering LLC, a provider of manufacturing services, announced the appointment of Andy Richardson as senior vice president of sales. He succeeds Tom Maloney, who was interim senior vice president of sales since May 2020.

Matt McIntosh, Xcentric CEO, said Maloney’s “experience and proven success in sales leadership, combined with his passion for using data and technology to drive business efficiency and performance will be an asset to the organization and team.”

Richardson’s career path includes leadership with a software-as-a-service organization and several posts at Atlanta, Ga.-based Quickparts, acquired in 2011 by Rock Hill, S.C.-based 3D Systems Inc., an on-demand manufacturing company.

Richardson said his new post is “a fantastic opportunity within the industry to transform an organization with a strong foundation into a well-oiled machine of innovation and improved customer experience. I am also looking forward to working with an exceptional team that has earned a reputation for its customer-first approach and excellence in rapid manufacturing.”

Richardson earned a Bachelor of Science in psychology from Kennesaw State University in 2001.

Founded in 1997, Xcentric provides rapid manufacturing services, including plastic injection molding, CNC machining, and 3D printing. More at http://www.xcentricmold.com.
