
DETROIT—“Building a Talent Pipeline: Developing Tomorrow’s Mobility and Manufacturing Workforce” is the theme of an Oct. 28 webinar that will highlight collaborative partnerships between industry, educators, students, and community members to develop Michigan’s STEM workforce.
Joe Steele, director of communications and legislative affairs at LIFT, the public-private-military manufacturing nonprofit, will moderate the discussions. Speakers will include Kip Darcy, vice president of enrollment and marketing at Kettering University, and Al Lecz, director of the Advanced Transportation Center at Washtenaw Community College. They’ll cover filling the talent pipeline by building partnerships that work. There will also be a keynote from Reuben Sarkar, CEO of the American Center for Mobility, on “Skills Gaps in the Mobility Industry.”
The event runs Wednesday, Oct. 28 from 10 to 11 a.m.
