Michigan Growth Capital Symposium moves online, to feature more than 50 companies

ANN ARBOR—The Michigan Growth Capital Symposium, the Midwest’s oldest and largest event for young companies seeking capital, will be held online Tuesday, May 5 as the Midwest Venture Showcase 2020.

All presentations by companies and university faculty seeking to commercialize discoveries hve been taped in advance, with pitch videos going live on May 5 and available through June 5. The format allows for direct messaging, meeting invitations, virtual networking sessions, and scheduled one-on-one meetings. Registrants will have access to:

  • 61 high-growth companies in the life sciences, medical device, technology, agricultural, and food sectors
  • More than 25 up-and-coming venture-ready companies from seven Midwest university tech transfer offices
  • More than 300 entrepreneurs, angel investors, venture capitalists, technology transfer professionals, and related vendors
