Tech248 to meet at auto supplier

PONTIAC—Tech248, Oakland County’s technology industry affinity group, has set its January meeting for Thursday, Jan. 16 at AGC Automotive, 34505 W. 12 Mile Road, Suite 300, in Farmington Hills.

 

The theme of the meeting is “Changing Dynamics in the Automotive Industry from a Tier-1 Supplier Perspective.”

 

The meeting runs from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. and includes remarks from Tech248 director Greg Doyle, and a presentation on AGC from its intellectual property counsel and market strategy leader, Eric Rogers, and strategic analyst Terry Yim.

 

The event is free, but registration is required by Monday, Jan. 13 at AdvantageOakland.EventBrite.com.

 

AGC makes automotive glass products for carmakers and the aftermarket. It was founded in Japan in 1907 and moved to Tokyo in 1917. It began production in the United States in 1986.
