MUSKEGON—EarthTronics, the Muskegon-based manufacturer of energy efficient lighting products, announced the introduction of new lighting products called the UFO Highbay LED Series.
Designed for use in manufacturing, warehousing, food processing, cafeteria, auditorium and gymnasium applications, EarthTronics officials say the new products provide superior lighting control and visual acuity in 15- to 35-foot mounting heights. For maximum efficiency and effectiveness, a multi-function microwave sensor is offered to provide daylight harvesting, stand-by dimming levels, adjustable detection sensitivity, and remote control.
Available at light temperatures of 4,000 degrees Kelvin (cool) and 5,000 degrees Kelvin (daylight), with a color rendering index of more than 80, the UFO Highbay LED Series comes in 100-, 150-, 200- 240-watt fixtures providing 13,000, 19,500, 26,000 and 31,200 lumens respectively, efficiently replacing up to 400-watt conventional fixtures. All models are DLC Premium listed, operating at 130 lumens per watt. The cast alloy design combined with a center vent LED array provide cool operation. This combined with high quality Samsung LED chips provide for an exceptional 120,000-hour performance life at 80 percent of rated luminosity output.
The UFO Highbay LED Series is IP66 rated for wet applications and NSF certified for food safety and processing. These fixtures are equipped with a 0 – 10-volt continuous electronic driver offering a dimming range capability of zero to 100 percent and operate at 120 to 277 volts AC. Drivers for operation at 240 to 480 volts are also available. All products are backed with a 5-year warranty. The products also operate at temperatures from 40 below zero to 122 degrees Fahrenheit, and may be accepted for utility rebates in many markets.
