NOVI—The Battery Show, an annual trade show and conference that draws engineers and innovators to discuss the latest battery advances in the automotive, consumer electronics, medical device, and power storage industries, returns to the Suburban Collection Showplace in Novi Sept. 9-12.
The event is expected to draw more than 8,000 attendees and 650 suppliers. More than 150 keynote and panel speakers will also provide more than 72 huors of education.
The event begins Monday, Sept. 9 with workshops on lithium ion battery advances, battery safety, and electrification of off-road vehicles. The formal conference kickoff is Tuesday, Sept. 10 at 8:30 a.m. Workshops continue throughout the day, and continue Wednesday and Thursday, Sept. 11 and 12.

The event also features a presentation from actor, author, and environmental activist Ed Begley, Jr. will discuss electric vehicle sustainability and ways to overcome barriers and resistance.
