DETROIT—Officials planning the Autonomous Vehicle Technology Expo and the Automotive Testing Expo events in October in Novi are seeking exhibitors to demonstrate their technologies on Friday, Oct. 25, immediately following both exhibitions.
The demonstrations will take place at one of the conferences’ partners, the American Center for Mobility, the Ypsilanti Township public-private test bed for autonomous and connected vehicle technologies.
Event organizers say the demonstrations will be limited to a small number of exhibitors. Companies wishing to take part are requested to submit a brief outline of their intended autonomous vehicle demonstrations. The deadline for submitting proposals is Friday, Aug. 16. All proposals will be considered and the final selection of companies will be confirmed by Tuesday, Sept. 10. A charge for use of the facility will be confirmed once proposals are received.

The conferences will take place Tuesday, Oct. 22 through Thursday, Oct. 24 at the Suburban Collection Showplace, 4610 Grand River Avenue in Novi.
