SOUTHFIELD — The East Michigan Chapter of the Association of Energy Engineers will hold study sessions for the professional designation of Certified Energy Manager later this month.
The sessions will take place Monday, July 22 through Friday, July 25 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at The Engineering Society of Detroit Headquarters, 20700 Civic Center Drive, Suite 450 in Southfield.
The CEM examination will them be administered at ESD on Saturday, July 26 from 8 a.m. to noon.
The cost of the study sessions is $1,895 for AEE members and employees of nonprofits, and $2,095 for others. The cost of the study sessions plus the examination is $2,295 for AEE members and employees of nonprofits, and $2,495 for others. The price includes training, a workbook, and an energy conservation guidebook, along with lunch and handouts all four days.
Students who attend are eligible for 3.2 Continuing Education Units and 32 Professional Development Hours.
