Whirlpool launches new website for building industry

BENTON HARBOR – Whirlpool Corp., the world’s largest manufacturer of home appliances, has launched a new website for building industry professionals, www.whirlpoolpro.com.

The Benton Harbor-based company said the new website was developed around trade audiences’ needs, and offers tailored content and resources for each major industry group.

“The goal of Whirlpool Pro is to provide building professionals with tools that allow them to better serve consumers,” said Kelly Safis, general manager of contract builder sales at Whirlpool. “We deeply value our relationships within the builder channel, many of which date back decades, and we want to ensure our partners can count on us to help them build their business.”

Builders, designers, architects, distributors and other industry professionals will find information to help them build their business, including insights about Whirlpool innovations in design, connectivity and sustainability.

The company said the new site offers new resources that are designed to simplify the selling process for trade professionals, background and analysis that helps trade professionals understand and address consumer trends, news on the latest products and technology from Whirlpool, as well as insights from the people who helped create them, and enhanced search capability and greater mobile compatibility to allow users to quickly access information anywhere.

In addition to the new website, the company recently kicked off an industry-focused marketing campaign about the power of collaborating with Whirlpool. The “Count on Us” campaign emphasizes the commitment of Whirlpool Corporation to providing quality appliances, purposeful innovations and reliable services to building industry professionals.

The campaign features advertisements in various industry publications, and leads users to the new Whirlpool Pro site. Whirlpool Pro has replaced Inside Advantage, the company’s former trade website.
