Bloomfield firm extends Golf Digest software deal through 2023

BLOOMFIELD HILLS — The J. Ryder Group of companies announced a five-year extension of its partnershp with Golf Digest for the Golf Digest Planner, golf outing and golf tournament planning software developed by J. Ryder.

The company says the software has enabled charities, schools, non-profits, and corporations throughout North America to raise more than $100 million in charitable donations at golf events.

The company added that the extension will enable another $50 million in fundraising at more than 20,000 golf outings over the next five years.

By allowing golf event planners to have their own website for registering players, promoting the event, collecting donations, and gathering sponsors, Golf Digest Planner enables any organization, company, non-profit, school, or group to host a successful golf outing as a primary annual fundraising activity.

J. Ryder Group has been actively involved in the golf tournament business since 1998. Managing or providing services to more than 30,000 golf tournaments, J. Ryder Group developed two platforms that they also manage and administer for Golf Digest: Golf Digest Planner, and Golf Digest Tournament Shop, a commerce website for all golf event related merchandise and contests.
