M2 TechCast covers auto tech, cloud tech, entrepreneurial events

ROYAL OAK — The auto industry’s high-tech future, entrepreneurial events, and the latest in cloud technology. That’s the lineup for the Monday, July 23 edition of the M2 TechCast at Podcast Detroit.com.

The lineup for the show includes:
* 2 p.m. — Michael Scholl from AutoCom will talk about the upcoming Management Briefing Seminars in Traverse City that focus on autonomous vehicle technology.
* 2:15 — Ahmed Alomari from Cybernoor will explain the key features of Oracle Autonomous Database Cloud.
* 2:30 — Tel Ganesan, TiE Detroit President, will outline his TiECon Detroit 18 event in October, that includes an entrepreneur Bootcamp with TechTown.
* 2:45 — Martin Dober from Invest Detroit will outline how entrepreneurs can participate in the $1 million Accelerate Michigan business-plan competition.

M2 Techcast is heard live Mondays from 2 to 3 p.m. Eastern time at www.podcastdetroit.com. You also can listen to archived shows on demand by clicking on M2 TechCast at MITechNews.Com. It’s also available on SoundCloud, iTunes and other audio outlets.

Heading into its fourth year, the M2 TechCast is co-hosted by Matt Roush, director of media relations at Lawrence Technological University, and Mike Brennan, owner of MITechNews.com, an online Michigan tech news source since 1999. It’s part of the Podcast Detroit network of more than 80 locally produced podcasts, anchored by IT in the D, which runs Monday nights from 9 to 11 p.m. Eastern time and which regularly draws more than 500,000 listeners.
