NTT completes buyout of Secure-24

SOUTHFIELD — NTT Communications Corp., the internet and communications business of the Japanese telecom giant NTT Group, announced it has completed its acquisition of Secure-24, a Southfield-based managed technology services provider.

The acquisition of Secure-24 will enable NTT Com, Dimension Data and other members of the NTT Group to strengthen their global capabilities to help enterprise customers effectively operate and maintain a wide range of enterprise applications such as SAP and Oracle. Furthermore, the NTT Group will combine its existing cloud, network and datacenter services with Secure-24’s managed services to respond to increasing global demands from customers looking to manage their hybrid IT environments.

Mike Jennings will continue as Secure-24 CEO. The company, founded in 2001, has about 600 employees at offices in Southfield and Hyderabad, India. It provides managed cloud services, IT operations and applications hosting to companies in the manufacturing, finance, retail, life sciences indsutries, as well as the public sector.
