LANSING — Liquid Web, LLC, the provider of managed hosting and managed application services, has partnered with Jilt, a Boston-based provider of technology to help online retailers gain revenue from abandoned shopping carts.
Specifically, Liquid Web will provide managed services for Jilt for those shops that use the WooCommerce e-commerce platform.
“Liquid Web’s commitment to innovating for their customers and pushing the envelope to deliver new and unique services really appeals to us,” said Max Rice, co-founder and CEO at Jilt. “Just like Liquid Web is constantly redefining what managed hosting platforms can be, we’re also laser focused on breaking new ground when it comes to e-commerce marketing automation. Our goal is to make Jilt the best email marketing solution for e-commerce stores. Liquid Web is the perfect partner for us to bring the services we’re building to a wider audience of e-commerce shop owners,” said Rice.
“Until now, many store owners felt they had to choose between hosted e-cCommerce offerings like Shopify or Squarespace or self-hosted solutions with WooCommerce,” said Chris Lema, VP of Products and Innovation for Liquid Web. “If they didn’t want to work with servers, it meant they walked away from WooCommerce… Our new Managed WooCommerce Hosting solution gives customers a way to have all the freedom of the platform without any of the hosted worries.”
