
DETROIT — AT&T Inc. announced it had constructed a new cell tower, adding to its 4G LTE high-speed network in Detroit, providing faster and more reliable wireless service for people in the area of Grand River Avenue and 15th Street.
AT&T said it also upgraded three other sites in the city, adding capacity to towers between Idaho Avenue and Woodrow Wilson Street, John R Street west of Woodward Avenue, and West Seven Mile Road and Wyoming Avenue.
AT&T said it invested more than $625 million in its wired and wireless networks in Detroit from 2014 to 2016.
