NetRate hires client services director

OKEMOS — NetRate Systems Inc., the Okemos-based developer of software for the insurance industry, has hired Jeff Lewis as director of client services.

Lewis has more than 15 years of experience, including heading several software support groups. He also served as head of application development at an international insurance carrier for multiple different domestic business units in its commercial insurance operation.

Lewis will oversee the day-to-day operations of NetRate’s client services employees, including the set-up of new clients, project management for software additions and changes for existing clients, and processing general support requests.

“As we continue to expand our business and bring on additional clients, we wanted to ensure that we continue to deliver on outstanding customer service,” NetRate CEO David Jordan said. “We want both our new and existing clients to receive the quality, responsive and professional service that they deserve and expect. With the addition of Jeff at the helm of our Client Services division, we are strengthening the depth and breath of our experience to address and respond to the demands and challenges of our clientele. We are very pleased to have Jeff as an integral part of the NetRate team.”

Added Lewis: “Over the years, I managed multiple vendors when working on the carrier side, including NetRate, so when the opportunity to work with them presented itself, I was excited to contribute my experience and to be a part of NetRate and the solutions they provide to clients.”
