Social media, entrepreneurs, global trade on today’s M2 TechCast

ROYAL OAK — Advice on the best business use of social media, entrepreneurship, and international trade are all on the agenda for the Monday, Oct. 9 edition of the M2 TechCast.

The show kicks off at 3 p.m. Eastern time with social media expert Melih Oztalay, founder of SmartFinds Marketing in Birmingham. He’ll explain the difference between active and passive social media.

At 3:15, it’s Tember Shea from Inforum’s inGAGE program and her guest, Christina York, founder and CEO of ALTality & Spellbound Books, a semi-finalist in the 2017 Accelerate Michigan Innovation Competition.

At 3:30, it’s Glenn Stevens of MichAuto and Trevor Pawl, group vice president at Pure Michigan Business Connect, talking about the latest in automotive technology and international trade.

Wrapping up the show at 3:45 is Chris Hardester, cloud consultant at CloudTech1 in Rochester Hills, for the latest on both cloud technology and this fast-growing consulting firm.

The M2 TechCast airs live on the internet between 3 and 4 p.m. Eastern time Mondays. It’s hosted by Mike Brennan, owner and publisher of MITechNews.com, and Matt Roush, director of the university news bureau at Lawrence Technological University in Southfield. Both covered high tech in Michigan as journalists for more than 20 years.
