ANN ARBOR — Ann Arbor-based Court Innovations Inc. announced that its Matterhorn online dispute resolution software has been integrated with CourtView and JWorks software for court management developed by Canton, Ohio-based Equivant.
Matterhorn software uses court case data eo help citizens resolve traffic ticket, warrant, family, and small-claims court matters without the time and expense of in-person hearings. Equivant provides court case management and transaction management services to court workers.
“We hear from courts that they want simplicity and ease-of-use for their own staff and for the public,” said Court Innovations CEO M.J. Cartwright. “The integration of Matterhorn with equivant’s software delivers just that. It’s a win-win-win for courts, their agency partners, and the public because it extends their reach online and streamlines court process.”
Both companies are exhibiting this week at the National Association for Presiding Judges and Court Officers/National Center for State Courts leadership conference in Scottsdale, Ariz., where Court Innovation’s Cartwright co-presented “Online Dispute Resolution: Coming to a Trial Court Near You.”
