Energy innovators gala set

LANSING — The Michigan Energy Innovation Business Council has scheduled its fifth annual Michigan Energy Innovators Gala for Thursday, Nov. 9 from 5 to 9 p.m. at the Michigan State University Kellogg Center, 219 S. Harrison Road in East Lansing.

During the gala, the organization will celebrate the companies and individuals who are working to build Michigan’s growing advanced energy industry. The gala provides the opportunity to network with advanced energy leaders from across the industry, MPSC staff, and public officials.

Awards will be presented for Business of the Year, Emerging Business of the Year, Employer of the Year, Public Official of the Year, and a spot in the Energy Innovators Hall of Fame.

Nominations are now open for the awards that will be handed out during the gala. Only Michigan EIBC members and gala sponsors may make nominations or self-nominate. Nominations will be accepted until 5 p.m. Eastern time Friday, Sept. 22. Sponsorship opportunities are also available and come with a variety of benefits, including a table at the event.
