New Software From GR Firm

GRAND RAPIDS — Fox Technologies Inc., the Grand Rapids-based provider of Linux security software, announced the release of BoKS ServerControl 7.1, an access management system for organizations strategically deploying Enterprise Linux.

The company said BoKS ServerControl 7.1 addresses new web-scale infrastructures being used by global financial institutions, governments, telecommunications, energy, healthcare, and technology companies faced with securing access to their most critical systems and data in rapidly changing business environments.
Business and technology executives can no longer rely on legacy tools and script-driven methodologies to cost effectively, and securely manage today’s dynamic IT infrastructure environments. According to annual Linux Foundation reports, there is already a worldwide deficit of Linux administration skills, therefore driving operational managers towards solutions that optimize the use of existing staff, and deliver a forecastable profile and return on investment over the lifespan of the new infrastructure.

“Our customers include many leading global corporations that rely on Fox Technologies to provide real-time controls in order to meet internal and regulatory security requirements across diverse Enterprise Linux environments,” said Mark Lambaise, CTO at Fox Technologies. “BoKS ServerControl provides a centralized solution to keep pace with changes in IT infrastructure and security requirements to remain in compliance, as they digitally transform their business … No other product on the market for Linux/UNIX critical infrastructure offers this level of granular access control, nor use-cases for wide scope of deployment architectures.”

Fox Technologies will be in Booth 318 at the Red Hat Summit in Boston through May 4.

Fox Technologies, a portfolio company of Parallax Capital Partners, is a global security company that helps organizations centralize Linux and UNIX privileged access management across hybrid IT environments. For more information, visit
