LANSING — The Michigan Environmental Council, the Office of the Great Lakes Coastal Management Program and partner organizations are organizing the first-ever Freshwater Dunes Summit May 7 and 8 at the Muskegon Harbor Holiday Inn.

The agenda provides an exciting mix of science and adventure with opportunities to paddle, cycle, or run; enjoy coastal Muskegon; explore the dunes on a day hike; and hear engaging presentations on dune stewardship, research, and recreation from conservation experts.
