
DETROIT — AT&T Inc. says it has upgraded mobile data and voice services in several areas around the state.
The locations and upgrades are as follows:
* Calhoun County — upgrades to cell towers at two locations, Beckley Road at Capital Avenue SW, and 6½ Mile Road and M-294
* Genesee County — an upgrade to a cell tower at Bristol Road and M-54
* Kalamazoo County — upgrades to cell towers south of I-94 and west of Lovers Lane, West of South Ninth Street, south of Tall Oaks Drive, near Flesher Field south of Stadium Drive, and along US-131, south of Michigan Avenue.
“We want our customers to have a great experience,” AT&T Michigan president Jim Murray said. “They’ll be able to download, upload, stream and play games faster than ever before on our 4G LTE network. We’re always working to provide better coverage. And we’re investing in our wireless network to accomplish that.”
