
DETROIT — AT&T Inc. announced that it has upgraded a dozen cell towers throughout Oakland, Wayne and Macomb counties.
The company said the changes will help customers get the most out of their mobile devices. With 4G LTE service, they’ll see better service when watching videos, posting to social media or texting family and friends.
The upgraded towers are located in the following communities:
Wayne County:
Detroit – at Kercheval Avenue, near Jefferson Avenue
Grosse Pointe Park – In the vicinity of Kercheval and Jefferson Avenues
Livonia – I-96, between Middlebelt and Merriman roads
Plymouth – near M-14 at Napier Road
Southgate – at Dix Toledo and Eureka roads
Taylor – in the vicinity of Eureka Road and I-75
Oakland County:
Southfield – at Lahser and Eight Mile roads
Troy — at W. Long Lake and Crooks road
Waterford — M-59, near Pontiac Lake Road
Macomb County:
Warren (three sites) – East 10 Mile Road at Groesbeck Highway, I-696 and Bunert Road and at Dequindre and East Whitcomb Avenue
