ESD Seeks Employers For Spring Job Fair

SOUTHFIELD — The Engineering Society of Detroit is seeking employers for its annual spring Job Fair.

The Job Fair will be held from 2 to 7 p.m. Monday, May 9 at the Suburban Collection Showplace, 46100 Grand River Ave., Novi.

ESD Job Fairs help employers beat the shortage of skilled workers in engineering and technology. ESD Job Fairs regularly draw hundreds of skilled, qualified engineers, scientists, IT professionals and skilled trades workers — all of whom are eager to find their next opportunity.

ESD Job Fairs give you the chance to meet face-to-face with talented students and professionals at all levels of experience, from seasoned, mid-career experts in their fields to young people seeking internships. They’re tailored specifically to high-tech workers like engineers, IT professionals and the skilled trades.

Each Job Fair exhibitor will receive one complimentary posting on the ESD Job Bank, a $295 value.

The recruitment booth package — $395 for ESD members and $495 for non-members — include an 8-by-10-foot exhibit space with a 6-foot skirted and draped display table and two chairs. Also included is online promotion at ESD’s web site, www.esd.org, advertising to all Michigan colleges and universities within a 150-mile radius of metro Detroit, free wireless internet in the booth, food and beverage certificates for up to five representatives, and a company listing in the event brochure and ESD’s website.
