ANN ARBOR — The supply chain design software developer LLamasoft said this week that the Building Technologies Division of Siemens AG has selected LLamasoft Supply Chain Guru as the standard application for supply chain design.
The division, based in Zug, Switzerland, is a service provider, system integrator and product vendor for various building controls, including safety and security, building automation, energy management, and heating, ventilation and air conditioning equipment.
Sven Markert, senior vice president of supply chain logistics for Siemens Building Technology Division, said the business “needed a strong modeling technology platform as well as a partner with a global presence to help guide us in building an innovative supply chain design. With its integrated optimization and simulation platform and growing community of users, LLamasoft was the best choice for Siemens’ BT supply chain network.”
