NOVI — The Engineering Society of Detroit’s Michigan Regional Future City competition is under way at the Suburban Collection Showplace in Novi.
Enjoy these photos of the competition for sixth, seventh and eighth graders, who design and build a city set 100 years in the future.
More than 450 students from 19 schools are to participate in Monday’s event, judged by more than 150 ESD member volunteers.
The winner of the regional advances to the national finals in Washington, D.C. next month.
