
TROY — Walsh College Professor Richard Chasdi, Ph.D., an internationally recognized expert on global terrorism studies, will present an informational session on “The Attacks on Paris: Understanding Terrorism, Its Origins, and Future Implications” from 6 to 7 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 19, in room 111 at the college’s Troy campus.
Chasdi will discuss the definition of terrorism, the origins of al-Qaeda and ISIS, the threat, and a prognosis. The event is free and open to the public but seats are limited. Please register for the event at this link.
