ESD Fall Job Fair Draws Big Crowd

NOVI — Hundreds of eager job seekers. Dozens of Michigan employers offering thousands of good-paying Michigan jobs. It all adds up to another successful Engineering and Technology Job Fair from The Engineering Society of Detroit.

Featured during the event was a live podcast of the M2 TechCast, a weekly engineering and technology podcast produced by Matt Roush, ESD Director of Communications and Public Relations, and Mike Brennan, a veteran Michigan technology journalist who has published Michigan Technology News at www.mitechnews.com since 1999.

“We always have good luck at the ESD job fair in finding qualified employees,” said Edward Fager, a recruiter for Link Engineering in Northville.

And the mother-daughter jobseeking team of Sarah Targosz of Northville and Karen Ledford of Commerce Township (pictured above) said there were plenty of good jobs up for grabs.

The job fair was to continue through 7 p.m. at the Suburban Collection Showplace on Grand River Ave. in Novi. The fair is free to ESD members seeking jobs. Nonmembers can attend for $20 and get a year’s ESD membership, a $99 value, as a bonus.
