TROY — The Sheet Metal & Air Conditioning Contractors National Association (SMACNA) Metropolitan Detroit Chapter has announced the appointment of Gregg Montowski to the position of executive director.
Montowski brings more than 12 years of construction association industry experience to SMACNA Detroit.
He joins the staff of Anthony Asher, general counsel, and Charlene Zezawa, administrator.
SMACNA Detroit provides services, codes, standards, technical specifications, safety, and education, along with labor relations with Local Union 80, representing nearly 100 contractors who employ some 900 sheet metal workers in Southeastern Michigan.
