CANTON TWP. — The Swedish software firm Neilsoft Inc., which recently opened its first United States office in Canton Township, will announce an advance to its manufacturing plant design software, CADISON, in an event Wednesday, Sept. 16.
The session to introduce i2PIM, will take place from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Sept. 16 at the Embassy Suites hotel, 19525 Victor Parkway in Livonia, near Seven Mile Road and I-275.
Other i2PIM seminars will be held in Houston, Texas on Sept. 18, Milwaukee, Wis. on Sept. 22, and Minneapolis Sept. 24.
Aimed primarily at professional users in the process, plant and building engineering sectors, Neilsoft says i2PIM will offer a breakthrough approach to plant design, using a single, concurrent database simultaneously updated and accessible to all design team members. While retaining the AutoCAD platform, i
2PIM can streamline project workflows, revision control, and change management, and improve engineering efficiencies by 30 percent or more, while also reducing design costs.
Headquartered in India, and with other offices in Germany and Switzerland, Neilsoft has more than 6,500 installations of its products, worldwide.
“We are giving our clients and potential customers a look at what’s on our radar,” said Tom Stephens, who leads Neilsoft’s U.S. operations. “As our clients view a bit of the future at this event, they can visualize what their future design processes will look like.”
The event includes lunch for those preregistered at http://cadison.com/i2-pim-seminar/home.php.
