NOVI — Three free high-tech engineering events will share the Suburban Collection Showplace in Novi Sept. 15-17.

The Battery Show 2015, a showcase of advanced battery technology, will be joined by the Electric & Hybrid Vehicle Technology Expo and the Critical Power Expo.

The shows run from 9:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Sept. 15 and 16 and 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sept. 17.

Event organizers say they expect an increase from last year’s record attendance at the event.

Industries represented at the show include automotive, back-up power, grid power and consumer electronics. The conference provides a holistic view of what’s driving the demand for energy storage and discusses how the industry can align its R&D efforts, strategy and investment decisions to meet future requirements.

The Battery Show is attended by technical leaders, scientists, engineers, project leaders, buyers and senior executives concerned with advanced energy storage and will host the very latest advanced battery solutions for electric and hybrid vehicles, utility and renewable energy support, portable electronics, medical technology, military and telecommunications.

The latest battery technology will be on display for a number of applications, from EVs to utility storage, to mobile power applications, personal electronics and healthcare.

Alongside this and now in its third year, the Electric and Hybrid Vehicle Technology Conference provides critical insight from the market’s leading Tier 1 suppliers, as well as passenger car, transport, heavy duty, off highway and industrial vehicle OEMs discussing emerging technology trends and how to develop product strategies and technical roadmaps to meet regulatory and emissions requirements.

The Battery Show is also a supply chain event, where the latest products from raw material and equipment suppliers, to materials and testing and recycling services, are on display.

And the Critical Power Expo is the only exhibition in North America that will welcome decision-makers from data centers, utilities, telecoms, healthcare institutions, financial services, energy and industrial sectors along with the entire critical power supply chain.

Visitors to The Battery Show 2015 will also have free access to the Electric & Hybrid Vehicle Technology Expo and the Critical Power Expo.
