MUSKEGON — The Muskegon-based LED lighting equipment developer EarthTronics Thursday announced new general-purpose A-type EarthBulb LEDs as an energy-efficient replacement for incandescent and compact fluorescent bulbs for the home and business.
EarthTronics said the Energy Star rated bulbs feature multi-chipset high-power LED, an advanced cooling system that provides extended performance life and smooth dimming capabilities from 100 percent to less than 5 percent. The bulbs also offer good color rendering, topping 80 on the Color Rendering Index, a scale from 0 to 100 percent indicating how accurate a given light source is at rendering color when compared to a reference light source.
With a 25,000 hour rated life and a 10-year warranty, the A-type EarthBulbs provide an energy savings that exceed 80 percent, for a quick return on investment.
The 13-watt A19 omni-directional EarthBulb LED delivers 1,100 lumens and replaces a standard 75-watt incandescent bulb. Developed to replace 100-watt incandescent light bulbs, the A21 EarthBulb LED is available in 17-watt and produces 1,600 lumens with a full radial illumination. A pleasing soft white 2,700 -degree color temperature is standard for both wattages. A 5,000-degree
daylight color temperature bulb is also available.
EarthTronics gives consumers additional control over their lighting with the 3-Way A21 EarthBulb LED providing 450, 800, 1,600 lumens respectively with 2,700-degree soft white color of light, to replace 40-60-100-watt incandescent 3-way bulbs. This LED lamp responds just like the incandescent bulb it replaces.
The energy efficient A-type EarthBulb LEDs are available at retailers nationwide and can be purchased online.
