AT&T Expands Mobile Internet In St. Clair County

DETROIT — AT&T Inc. says its customers in St. Clair County can expect to see better mobile Internet coverage and voice performance after an investment in improved wireless performance in several area communities.

Faster data speeds and improved voice performance will be noticed at:
• Port Huron – at Beach Road, south of the Black River
• Allenton – south of I-69, west of Capac Road
• Memphis – between Lambs and Gilbert roads, west of Memphis Ridge Road

AT&T enhanced a cell tower in each town to create stronger Internet connections and help better manage mobile traffic.

AT&T invested more than $140 billion including investments in its networks and acquisitions of wireless spectrum and operations from 2009 to 2014. In that time, AT&T has invested more in the U.S. than any other public company.
