
DETROIT — AT&T Inc. announced this week that its High Speed Internet 75 service has been expanded to the Detroit, Flint, Lansing and Saginaw markets.
The telecom giant said introductory prices start as low as $39.95 a month for the high-speed service when bundled wtih AT&T’s U-verse TV or voice services.
The service made its entry into Michigan a few months ago in the Grand Rapids area. It’s now available in more than 60 major markets in 21 states across the country.
Just how fast is 75 megabytes per second? Just for comparison — it allows users to download a five-minute song in half a second, an hour-long TV show in 35 seconds and a movie in two minutes.
