ANN ARBOR – MITechNews.Com and The Engineering Society of Detroit today announced a new content partnership, the first step toward further collaboration.
Matt Roush, ESD’s Director of Communications and Public Relations, will post the stories that he writes for the ESD’s Technology Century website and magazine in a newly created ESD section at MITechNews.Com and in its weekly e-newsletter, co-branded with the Internet Advisor on WJR. Also, MITechNews.Com Editor Mike Brennan will offer a sampling of the stories about tech entrepreneurs that appear on MITechNews.Com for use by ESD in its websites.
Both publications also will exchange logos and other links to cross promote each other on their respective websites.
“Matt and I have both been in the news business since the mid-1990’s when I covered technology for the Detroit Free Press and Matt did the same for Crain’s Detroit Business,” said Brennan. “It will be fun to finally work together on this project.”
“Mike is a veteran technology journalist as well as a real entrepreneurial success story,” added Roush. “He’s been online with his own business offering news about Michigan’s high-tech economy for more than 15 years. The readers of our websites will benefit from having easy access to more stories about the industries that make Michigan the nation’s No. 1 state for engineering.”
ESD and MITechNews.com are also planning further content cooperation in the future.
