Domino’s Adds Ordering Via Smartwatches

ANN ARBOR — The Domino’s Pizza chain has added ordering from your wrist — via Pebble and Android Wear smartwatches.

The Ann Arbor-based company said it’s the first time that Domino’s ordering has been available on smartwatch technology.

Pebble and Android Wear smartwatch users who wish to use the new faeture must have Domino’s app for their smartwatch, along with a Pizza Profile with a saved Easy Order or recent order.

Customers can also use the Domino’s Tracker on their smartwatch to follow the progress of their order, from the time it is taken, to when it is placed in the oven, to when it’s ready for delivery or carryout.

“We are constantly looking for ways to use technology to enhance our customers’ experience and provide them with more convenience,” said Domino’s CIO Kevin Vasconi. “We pride ourselves on having a variety of online ordering options for customers to choose from.”
