ANN ARBOR — The Ann Arbor-based healthcare information and analytics firm Truven Health Analytics announced that Dearborn-based Oakwood Healthcare has selected Truven’s Micromedex system to integrate patient education and consumer engagement resources.
Oakwood has four hospitals with 1,129 licensed beds in southeast MIchigan.
The system will use Micromedex Integrated CareNotes to integrate patient discharge instructions, as well as other educational and instructional documents, directly into its electronic health record workflow.
Patients and the community will also have access to interactive, web-based health information, wellness tools, health assessments and actionable multimedia – all customizable to promote hospital brand and services lines.
