SOUTHFIELD — The Michigan Waste Industries Association and The Engineering Society of Detroit will present their 25th annual Solid Waste Technical Conference Friday, March 6 at the Kellogg Hotel & Conference Center in East Lansing.
Each year, this one-day technical conference educates attendees on emerging technologies and regulatory changes that affect the solid waste industry. It brings together national experts to present on issues at the forefront of solid waste management. Topics at prior years’ conferences have included environmental sampling, landfill gas and leachate monitoring, turning landfill gas into renewable vehicle fuels, and more.
A pre-conference training day is planned for Thursday, March 5, designed to provide practical guidance and demonstrations.
