
LANSING — The German auto supplier Kirchhoff Van-Rob will open a new plant in Watertown Township near Lansing next year.
The company will be occupying an existing building on Felton Road in Watertown Township. Company officials say they will 125 jobs within the first six months, with additional expansion plans for the future.
Kirchhoff Van-Rob supplies structural, interior, chassis components and welded assemblies to the auto industry, including instrument panel beams, engine cradles and underbody modular assemblies.
It is Kirchhoff’s second plant in MIchigan.
