DETROIT — AT&T Inc. announced that its U-verse high-speed Internet and TV service had expanded to more than 3,000 new local customer locations in October in the Detroit area.
The services include AT&T U-verse High Speed Internet, AT&T U-verse TV and AT&T U-verse Voice. The expansion is part of AT&T’s Project Velocity IP, a 3-year investment plan to expand and enhance AT&T’s wireless and wireline Internet Protocol broadband networks.
A large amount of the local growth — more than 800 customer locations — took place in St. Clair County during October. Customer locations were also added in the city of St. Clair (more than 700 locations), Lapeer County (more than 600 locations), and a number of other area cities, towns and neighborhoods.
AT&T U-verse offers customers the freedom to watch TV on computers, tablets and smartphones as well as TVs, and access to extensive HD channels, fast internet services, flexible bundles of services and more.
These features are also accessible by logging on to U-verse.com, where customers can stream more than 300,000 TV shows, movies, sports and more at no extra charge.
Geographic and service restrictions apply to AT&T U-verse services. For more information on AT&T U-verse — or to find out if it’s available in your area — visit www.att.com/u-verse.
