GRAND RAPIDS — Priority Health, the Grand Rapids-based health insurer affiliated with the Spectrum Health organization, has released ThinkHealth, a new digital magazine.
he insurer says ThinkHealth will help support consumers and business owners as they make health care decisions. And it’s needed — Priority Health said a recent study conducted by the Urban Institute Health Policy Center found that only 39 percent of respondents understood basic health care and insurance terms.
“ThinkHealth reflects our mission at Priority Health to improve the health and lives of our neighbors,” said Joan Budden, chief marketing officer for Priority Health. “This is a digital magazine built to provide timely, thought-provoking and educational content to help Michigan consumers address their health care needs.”
ThinkHealth will feature Priority Health experts as well as representatives of other organizations across the health insurance, health care technology and fitness industries. The site will also highlight personal stories from individuals looking to improve their health and inspire others, as well as insider tips on how to get involved in activity-related events across Michigan.
Content will be organized in three categories:
* A Healthier You provides tips on chronic disease management, personal wellness and wellness in the workplace.
* Health Care 101 offers advice on making sure you get the right health care at the right time at the right price.
* Innovation focuses on advancements in health care related to technology, health management and medical treatment programs.
