SOUTHFIELD — The Engineering Society of Detroit’s members-only tour of the maker space TechShop Wednesday, Oct. 22 comes with a special deal on TechShop membership.
Participants in the ESD tour get the After Tour Special, good until Oct. 31. The special gives you three months of membership and two of TechShop’s upper-level “choice” classes for $225 — a savings of more than $200 from regular prices. Plus, if you sign up for the special on the day of the tour, you get four months membership instead of three — a free month of access to TechShop’s millions of dollars’ worth of equipment.
ESD’s TechShop tour begins with networking and registration at 3:30 p.m. Oct. 22, and the tour from 4 to 5 p.m. Sign up at this link. TechShop is located at 800 Republic Drive in Allen Park, near the Southfield Freeway’s Rotunda Drive exit.
The tour is $25 for ESD members. Or, join ESD for $60 (a 40 percent discount) and take the tour for free.
