GRAND RAPIDS — Grand Rapids-based Data Strategy LLC said Modnay it had completed its acquisiton of Indianapolis-based Network Storage Inc. Terms were not disclosed.
Data Strategy will continue to be based in Michigan. The Indianapolis former headquarters of Network Storage will serve as a regional hub.
The company says it now has nearly 100 full-time employees. The buyout adds the Indianapolis and Louisville, Ky. markets to its footprint, and now offers expanded locations in Detroit and Cincinnati.
“As we continue to solidify our position as a growing player in the Midwest, we expect to add 10 to 15 jobs in the next 12 months and expect to make sizeable capital investments in our local organizations,” said Dana Jacks, executive vice president at Data Strategy.
Officials from both companies noted that the deal will strengthen their affiliation with vendor partners, such as EMC², Cisco, VMware, and HP. Building scale with vendor partners will allow greater efficiencies, improved pricing, and increased services to be passed along to clients of Data Strategy.
